Greatest fear Saturday, November 25, 2006

Had a dental appointment yesterday. Haix..since young i always hated going to the dentist. Coz in primary school i don noe how many tmes i had to visit the dentist bcoz of some accidents tat occurred in school. First, its juz a normal case wen u go for check up den the dentist discover tat u have a loose tooth. Den after tat came the more severe case. Coz if i'm not wrong i had a small accident during either in primary one or two. Can't remember exactly. Tat time me n il love to play together at the monkey bar near the field. Everytime during recess we will always hang around together wif our other best fren by the name of syazlin. Wel one day, i was standing rite under the monkey bar n il was hanging on it on top of me. Didn't expect il to fall straight on top of me! But it did happen. But luckily il was not tat heavy during tat time so, did not suffer such a serious injury. Wen il fell on top of me all of them started laughing including her instead of helping me out. I felt kind of a little dizzy n they had to help me up before going to c the dentist. I wa brought to the dentist to check if my teeth was ok coz both my teeth n lip was injured. She den applied some medicine on my mouth. It hurt terribly! Afetr tat had to walk around the whole school wif a purple mouth! Lyk an idiot seh..everyone laughed. Haix..luckily we were still young n don mind it. Since il n i were good frenz i was not really mad at her. Accidents happen wen we are not careful. So ya i forgive her.
Besides tat incident, during primary 4 i fainted during the morning assembly. I fell straight to the front therefore i was injured quite badly. Again i had to go to the dentist as diz time round my front teeth broke into half. I couldn't eat or drink as it hurt terribly.Tats wen the school dentist had to refer me to specialist for further treatment. I had to go to the Health Promotion Board to get my tooth fixed. It was very painful n even before i was called into see the dentist i was already shivering wif fear. The treatment was soo the very long. i screamed most of the time during the treatment. Since tat day onwards i was really afraid to c the dentist again. Iwas told tat i cannot bite anything hard wif my front tooth for fear tat it might break again. So as u can see i had to watch wad i eat in order not to go to the dentist again.
Unfortunately, i was again refer to the HPB to check on my tooth tat was injured last time. I was shocked to hear wad the dentist in school told me. So i taught tat i would juz kept quiet bout it. but den one day my mom told me tat she already made an appointment for me to go c the dentist at HPB. I was lyk dunna wad to say but have to follow wad my mum asked me to do. So went to see the dentist again yesterday. N i was rite! It was not good news to hear coz from the test they did, they discover tat my injured tooth had a little infection. The dentist den told my mum tat i have to return again foir another appointment in three months time! She told my mum tat the tooth looks as if it is dying n told her to keep an eye on me to c if i suffer any pain during diz time. If yes she would have to change the appointment n make it earlier. I was soo scared wen i heard tat. The dentist said tat if my tooth is dead they have to do 'canalling' or something lyk tat. It means tat they would have to drill a hole in my tooth n dig out the dead nerves inside it. I was soo shocked wen i heard tat. I felt lyk wan 2 juz cover my ears n not listen to how the surgery will be conducted. Ouch! Juz by hearing wad she had to say i can already feel the pain. I can't imagime the pain wen the surgery is conducted. God save me! Pray hard tat nothing bad will happen to me or i will have to undergo tat surgery. The test tat they conducted was using some shocking devies on my tooth to c if there is any reaction. Wel wen she try iot on me it had no effect den she turned it to the number 10. Iseriously felt the electric n ouch was it very painful. The dentist den laughed n said tat she lyk to c my reation n find it 'cute'! I don believe it. I was in pain n she called tat cute! She muz b crazy. So tats another bad thing for me. Furthermore wen i told il bought it she made me even more scared til i could not have a peaceful sleep in the nite! Wel til here peeps! Chiox!
